Which bounce house fits a San Francisco yard

Most backyards in the Sunset, the Richmond, Noe Valley and Bernal Heights are narrow lots, often a step or two below the house. The White Mini Combo is our usual answer for those: it is lower and smaller than a castle and still has a slide. Where the yard is wider and flat, a castle in your party colors fits most gardens.

Kingdom Combos need a large, flat space and suit bigger gardens, school yards and park picnic sites more than a typical city lot.

No yard? Garages and indoor parties

Plenty of San Francisco parties happen in a garage, a lower-floor rec room or a building’s common room. Bounce houses are made for outdoor use, so for indoor parties we usually suggest soft play and a ball pit instead; they need no power and fit through a standard doorway.

SF Rec & Park allows one jump house per picnic or event, up to 25 by 25 feet, with prior approval. Each additional jump house costs $100 plus a $250 security deposit. Not every picnic site can take a jump house, and delivery areas are restricted, so ask about your site when you reserve.

Parking and setup in the city

Tell us about steep driveways, hills, stairs and where the crew can stop. On narrow streets, a driveway or a coned-off space out front makes setup much quicker. We call or text when the crew is on the way, and the team waits ten minutes for someone to meet them.
